Aortic Valve Stenosis, ever heard of it? A disease which many of us have not even thought of is an everyday reality for Rick. Extensive pressure on heart has invaded his life and as a result he is required to go thru various surgeries. Doctors suggest Rick to be in a relaxed environment as much as possible, avoiding tension or stress as it will definitely add more strain on his heart and plus to avoid a lot of physical activity to keep his heart happy for a while. Rick has his friends and family for support, however, will love be able to find Rick in this chaos? Even if his love lady walked into his life, will she accept him for the struggles he goes thru daily? As very aptly said, Inside the Heart of Hope is a story of strong will, perseverance and optimism which will make you wonder if sky is really the limit.
To Read or Not To Read:
Although the book is under fictional category, it reads more like a memoir. The story has certain true elements to mix with the fictitious part. It is a very simple read and not very difficult to understand. The language is subtle and plain, the plot is very guessable as you move towards the end. There is no definite character buildup, although this isn't really necessary for the plot of this story line, it would have been an interesting element. It makes a good read for reading beginners and for those who has going through a similar phase as the main character in the story. It does have a good motivational element to it. When you have an afternoon off and want to have a little one-on-one reading session with your heart, this one is for you.
